Dr Stuart Flint, Scaled Insights' President, will speak about his research into the impact of COVID-19 on people identified as at high risk of severe illness of death by Government on 5th March with Digital Leaders.


The study, published in British Medical Journal Open, explored the impact of COVID-19 on people identified as at high risk of severe illness by UK government, and in particular, the impact of lock-down on access to healthcare, medications and use of technological platforms.


Associate Professor at the University of Leeds, Honorary Academic with Public Health England and Director of Obesity UK Experience, Dr Flint has extensive experience of leading research projects, including designing, analyzing, interpreting and publication. In 2020, Dr Flint led several national projects on attitudes and behaviors about COVID- 19 including a general population study of UK adults, and of people identified as at high risk of severe illness from COVID-19.


The awareness, attitudes and actions survey explores the impact of COVID-19, on including access to healthcare, use of technology for health condition management, mental health, depression, well-being and lifestyle behaviors.


The study provides novel evidence of the impact of COVID-19 on people identified as at being vulnerable.
