A study published in PLOS ONE explores how personality relates to attitudes toward aging among adults aged 65 and older in the UK and Canada.
Researchers used Scaled Insights’ Behavioral Ai to analyze open-ended responses from 2,034 participants. They identified two personality clusters, “Optimistic Aging” and “Pessimistic Aging” associated with different attitudes and experiences of growing older.
The findings highlight the potential for personality insights to inform more personalized communications and interventions that support healthy aging.
