1. Information We Collect
Scaled Insights collects and retains limited information necessary to operate KenSi. This includes your phone number, which is the primary item of information that may directly identify you, as well as the content of SMS messages and phone-based interactions with KenSi. We may also collect operational data such as message timestamps, delivery records, opt-in and opt-out records, and related communication logs.
We seek to de-identify conversation content and related records as much as possible. Aside from your phone number, retained data is intended to be stored in de-identified form wherever reasonably feasible.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to operate KenSi and provide communications related to the participating health system or service, respond to your messages, support ongoing communication, maintain records of consent and opt-out activity, improve service quality and system performance, and comply with legal, regulatory, contractual, and security obligations.
3. De-Identification
Scaled Insights seeks to store communication content in de-identified form as much as possible. Where practical, we remove or reduce information that directly identifies an individual from conversation records and related data. Your phone number may still be retained because it is necessary to support communications, manage consent, and process opt-out requests.
4. How Information Is Shared
We do not sell your personal information.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties except vendors, consultants, and service providers who help us deliver the communications service and who are required to protect the information and use it only for that purpose.
We may share limited information only as necessary with service providers that support SMS, telephony, hosting, security, analytics, or related operations, with a participating health system or service partner when necessary to support the communication purpose for which KenSi is being used, if required by law or legal process, to protect rights, safety, or security, or in connection with a corporate transaction subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
5. Data Retention
We retain phone numbers, communication records, and associated operational logs only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate KenSi, document consent and opt-out status, support the participating service, improve system performance, and meet legal or contractual obligations. Where reasonably possible, retained communication content is stored in de-identified form.
6. Your Choices
You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP.
You may request assistance at any time by replying HELP.
If you no longer wish to continue communicating with KenSi, you may stop responding or use the opt-out method above where SMS is being used.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect the information we retain against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or misuse. No system can guarantee absolute security.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted at this page with a revised effective date.
