Our goal is to improve medical professionals' ability to sell behavior changes to their patients.
Our technology aims to:
-
Better understand patient motivations
-
Shift behavior through effective nudges and communication

The Process

1
Sample
Collect language sample & specific behaviors

2
Determine
Use our Ai to discover what personalities, with specific behavioral attributes, have in common

3
Map
People who share personality characteristics with behaviors in common are clustered together

4
Study
Develop the ground truth that will determine how a net new patient is likely to behave

5
Nudge
We work with HCPs and experts to develop nudges that are most effective in shifting behavior change for each identified personality cluster

6
Test
Test intervention success rate against each personality cluster, before delivering to clinics at scale

Language Sampling via Phone-Based Motivational Interviewing
Scaled Insights offers an automated toll-free phone or SMS chat experience for interested patients. After providing verbal consent, callers respond to a brief series of questions in their own words. Si’s Behavioral Ai then analyzes these natural language responses to generate personalized insights.
Representing People with Data
Personalities become numbers. We have 113 metrics for measuring personality traits! Using 100-300 words of natural language, Si's Behavioral Ai processes an individual’s use of adjectives, adverbs and pronouns converting them into numerically scored personality profiles based on the ‘Big Five’ personality types and thinking styles used by psychologists around the world.
The Big 5:
Conscientiousness
Agreeableness
Neuroticism
Openness

The Power of Patient Persuasion Harnessed
Information gathered from Si’s Behavioral Ai is mapped into a series of personality “nudge” clusters that can then be correlated with a person's actions to help understand what motivates different personality types to make decisions benefiting their health. Healthcare behavior change messaging can then be personalized to “nudge” patients into making beneficial choices for their well-being.
