Patient motivation: Scaled Insights Behavioral AI extracts personality characteristics from language samples, creating a mathematical cluster of personality which is correlated with observed behaviors and outcomes. We then building predictive models of how personality predicts behaviors and outcomes.
Effective nudges and communication: Scaled Insights works with clinicians and behavior change experts to develop effective nudges and communication matched to personality that are designed to shift behavior.
Our goal is to improve medical professionals' ability to sell behavior changes to their patients.
Collect a language sample & specific behaviors
Use our AI to discover what personalities, with specific behavioral attributes, have in common

Sampling from the source via QR initiated mobile survey
Scaled Insights has created a brief 2-minute, on-line survey, that is initiated via a QR code located in the waiting room of healthcare facilities. Once a patient has scanned the code using their mobile device, they will answer a series of questions providing natural language where SI’s Behavioral AI will then process their answers.
Representing People with Data
Personalities become numbers. We have 113 metrics for measuring personality traits! Using 100-300 words of natural language, SI's Behavioral AI processes an individual’s use of adjectives, adverbs and pronouns converting them into numerically scored personality profiles based on the ‘Big Five’ personality types and thinking styles used by psychologists around the world.

Information gathered from SI’s Behavioral AI is mapped into a series of personality “nudge” clusters that can then be correlated with a person's actions to help understand what motivates different personality types to make decisions benefiting their health. Healthcare behavior change messaging can then be personalized to “nudge” patients into making beneficial choices for their well-being.
Sharing is Caring
Once the results from SI’s Behavioral AI has been compiled and each patient’s personality clusters have been determined, it can then be shared with the patient’s healthcare team. The data provided is accompanied with personalized messaging for the healthcare practitioner to use to “nudge” the patient in a manner that will make lasting beneficial lifestyle choices.
